    The start of the walk is on the west coast of England and the Lake District in the village of St Bees. The train journey from Manchester airport is quite pleasant and the village itself is lovely although the main village is inland, 10min walk from a great beach where I started the walk. Journey time – 8 minute walk from Harlech station Snowdonia National Park. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in England and Wales, and the largest natural lake in Wales, as well as a wealth of picturesque villages like Betws y Coed and Beddgelert.
